Our story…
It was 2007. Coach Alli finished playing for the University of Missouri and moved to Flower Mound, TX to be with family. She started working on her postgraduate degree, traveling abroad, and giving lessons on the side, trying to figure out where this new life after ball was taking her. What started as a couple of girls steadily grew into more, and her side gig turned full time.
After graduating from her master’s program, she was at a crossroads, follow her degrees (psychology) or keep coaching. She decided to follow a good thing and something she knew she was passionate about, but decided she couldn’t do it alone.
At that point, in 2011, she brought on her first instructor, another former college softball player… and has stayed on that path ever since - adding pitching, catching, fielding, hitting, mental game training, and cage rentals.
In 2017, she opened her own location in Denton and has been continuing to offer softball lessons, clinics, and cage rentals there ever since.
iTrain Softball Academy has expanded into one of the most respected softball academies in North Texas.
We have sent nearly 300 players off to college to play, all of whom we have spent an extensive amount of 1-on-1 time with.
We pride ourselves on being a girl place - owned, operated, and fueled by softball women.
All instructors are former college softball players with extensive experience in the game.
